Popular sample packs?

Hello caustic community, I need help in a matter. I know for a fact that certain sample packs were released in the 2003-2005 era that have been used by many popular artists. You can hear these sample loops in many tracks. Example one :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3TCuXdMpAo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCTU1UwyLL8

So we have the same sample at the beginning of each track, just pitch-shifted a little. I have another more obvious example :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QRbquhdc9A

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSVuGFzRO2w (go to around 3:30 to hear the same sample)

This is actually a sample loop from Sony Acid's Ambient Atmospheres Library, so I have the actual loop, which proves that this is the production process indeed for many artists.

But many more examples exist, and I only have around two of these omnipresent samplepacks so far.

Could you guys please point me to more such pro 2003 era sample packs ? I'd appreciate it HUGE. I will mention BT's Nu Skool Breaks as one such library. These samples are absolutely stunning.

Pretty funny how times change

Pretty funny how times change... Five, ten years ago many people were asking for samples which early jungle, dnb, techno and eurodance were made from... those (in)famous Jungle Warfare series as an example...

Truly quality sample packs

Truly quality sample packs will cost money and the really good ones are not cheap at all.   Why not figure out how to use Caustic's synth engines to make your own sounds, and create your own PCMSynth presets or other presets in the many ways available?   Or use your phone or table to go record some drums, or guitars or whatever, and learn how to edit and process them, to make your own sounds?   You'll save your wallet some pain that way.  cool

Pssssst...... little secret..... may sounds and presets I've made for Caustic, were made with........ Caustic (synth engines, FX, DSP etc....)

There's reason why I use

There's reason why I use samples. Live synths take up CPU fast so I prefer to start from a sample and gradually re-record it as I do more processing. I know how to edit and cut beats. For patches based on granular synthesis, I usually work with pieces that can be as small as 1/512 or even smaller. Often times, I manually edit and pitch-shift each slice. For example, on my first track from The Light, the pads were actually resynthesised and heavily reverberated granular arpegios. That is how I can add a remarkable range of morphing and expression to my patches.

So with that said, you can see why samples are more versatile for me. Also, I must add that I don't multitrack in Caustic. I like the SubSynth and FMSynth a lot though for their clean and yet distinctive sound profile, and often record samples out of them, but I always finish my tracks on a PC.

I have a disc with over a dozen short songs made by Stakka. After each song plays, each loop, single strike, kick, snare, tom, and every other piece of the puzzle is neatly spaced with one second between each sound. I bought if for the songs. But, now, I really need to find that disc! Two of the song titles are French Toast, and Roger Ramjet. That should aid in anyone's attempts at finding it.

No. These were made prior to the advent of dubstep. But, dubstep is the bastard love child of dnb & too many bad pills. So, the samples could be used for that.

The Jungle Warfare sample

The Jungle Warfare sample packs were quite popular I seem to remember.

I actually remember recognising one of the samples in an Amon Tobin tune.
